Collaborative Camp Leadership Network Application

The Foundation for Jewish Camp’s Collaborative Camp Leadership Network (“Collaborative Network”) brings together alumni of its various professional development programs to collaborate on solutions to further enhance their camps’ Jewish impact on campers, staff, and families. The Collaborative Network is an opportunity for Jewish overnight summer camps to pool their respective strengths to solve mutual challenges or maximize opportunities in the realm of Jewish education, Jewish culture, and Jewish/spiritual life at camp.

The project will get started in phases.

  1. Complete this form. By completing this form, you are applying to be one of the camps (and camp professionals) involved in the Collaborative Network’s Action Project Initiative. Below, you will share specific interests and challenges.

  2. FJC will weave the networks. FJC will weave action-oriented networks among camps with similar goals.

  3. Action Project development. Once connected, camps together with support from FJC will discuss the challenge at hand and will develop a project to pilot at their respective camps. In the development of each project, the Action Group and FJC will determine which professional development resources might support the program. If approved, FJC will subsidize professional development or additional resources to aid in the project design and implementation. Following the summer of 2019, case studies highlighting learnings from each initiative will be made available to the field.

Please complete the below as the described first step of this project. One form submission is permitted per person, and should be completed by the FJC Professional Development Program alum who would be involved on their camp’s project team. You will have the opportunity to indicate if other members of your camp team, full time or seasonal, might be involved in the project as well.

Foundation for Jewish Camp will use the information on this form to contact you periodically with important updates and information, such as our monthly newsletter. We respect your privacy and will store your personal information securely. You can unsubscribe at any time.
