Empatico Registration Form

Foundation for Jewish Camp is partnering with Empatico to connect camps and campers to others around the world through video chat experiences that spark curiosity, kindness, and empathy. Through Empatico, campers will be able to see other communities, share their lives, and learn about others through joint activities designed to foster meaningful connections, specifically among campers ages 7-11.

Incubated by The KIND Foundation, this program is free—all you need is a reliable internet connection and a computer, tablet, or mobile phone with a camera. A partner camp, activity plans, and built-in video, messaging, and scheduling tools are all provided.

Interested camps should:

  • Serve campers between the ages of 7-11.
  • Have a reliable internet connection at camp that can be used for this program.
  • Commit to at least two video chats in summer 2019 (either with the same partner camp or two different partner camps).
  • Build time into the schedule for substantial call preparation and debriefing, using resources provided by FJC & Empatico.
  • Be willing to submit an evaluation form to FJC at the end of summer 2019 regarding the experience using this tool.

Spots are limited for this unique program!
Please fill out this form by Friday, April 12th.
