Project information

HOPE worldwide's Access to PRS project provides assistance in accessing long term accommodation either in the private rented sector or in hostels or other types of shared accommodation.

Those referred must be singles with no / low support needs, and no / low risk.

Unfortunately, for capacity reasons, HOPE worldwide cannot accept clients who cannot communicate well enough in English for an assessment to be completed.

If you cannot answer ‘Yes’ to each of the questions in the section below, the client is not suitable for the project.

How HOPE worldwide will use and process personal data

Please ensure that the person you are referring understands and accepts the following before making the referral:

  • HOPE worldwide use and collect personal information about you so that they can give you useful advice and help you find suitable housing.
  • You do not have to give them the information they ask for, but this may mean that they give you the wrong advice or may limit what they can do to help you.
  • Your information is confidential. HOPE worldwide will only ever share information about you with others when it is necessary for finding housing or if they have serious concerns about your safety or wellbeing.
  •  HOPE worldwide will keep personal information for up to seven years after you use their service, in case you need their support again.
  • For more information, you can read the full HOPE worldwide privacy notice on their website at https://hopeworldwide.org.uk/privacy-notice/

If the client does not have a phone number / email address, please contact 07958 027 339 whilst the client is still with you to make a fast-track assessment appointment at the HOPE worldwide office.

An alternative contact (e.g. day centre) where they can receive calls / messages can also be provided. However please note the client is responsible for contacting HOPE worldwide on a weekly basis in this circumstance, otherwise their application will be closed if they are not contactable. Landlords insist on prospective tenants having a phone.
