Thank you for your interest in the Pollinator & Native Plant Workshop on June 22, 2019!
This workshop is for native plant-curious Johnson County homeowners who would like to learn how to be reimbursed for sustainable landscape solutions through JOCO's Contain the Rain program.
We will cover the basics including the importance of pollinator and
native plants in your garden, tried and true favorite species, basic
layouts of gardens, including how to incorporate natives into your
existing garden, general landscaping and efficiency tips, and storm
water benefits. People will be available to discuss Contain the Rain and how the reimbursement program works.
Brought to you by Johnson County, League of Women Voters; Johnson County Stormwater Management Program; Bridging The Gap; and Parsons' Gardens. Workshop taught by Chris Cardwell, BTG program manager and landscape designer.
