Makerfest is a local market with a mission to empower young people and support small businesses. Shop a curated selection of 15 local artisans and food makers alongside our selection of books.

More Than Words is a non-profit social enterprise empowering youth to take charge of their lives by taking charge of a business.

To apply to be a Makerfest vendor, please fill out the form below. The deadline to apply is June 4, 2019. Vendors will be notified of their application status on or before June 6, 2019. Questions? Contact Aida at events@mtwyouth.org

Application and Day-Of Information

Fees
vary by location within our retail space. Please select your first choice of location on our application. All vendor fees support More Than Words, a non-profit social enterprise empowering youth to take charge of their lives by taking charge of a business.
  • $68 - Main Retail Space, 6x2 table space
  • $58 - Smith Family Common, 6x2 table space
  • $48 - Reading Room, 6x2 table space (table included)
Equipment
Vendors must provide their own 6x2 table, table cloth, and display items. More Than Words can provide the following:
  • Wi-Fi
  • Two chairs upon request
  • Outlets as available and upon request
  • 6x2 plastic folding tables as available and upon request, $8
  • All Reading Room spaces include a wooden, 6x2 table
Load-In/Load-Out
Vendors will be given a load-in time between 9 - 10 AM for an 11 AM start time. All vendors must load-out by 6 pm. Unfortunately MTW cannot store items before or after these times.

Cancellations & Refunds
Please notify us of a cancellation in advance. Unfortunately, vendor fees are non-refundable.
