Join your PAS peers for a weekly class on Jewish community. This year (2019-2020) we will be concentrating on World Jewry, exploring Jewish communities around the world and their relationship with Israel, anti-Semitism, and cultural diversity.
No prerequisite: 9th graders may register even if they did not participate in this class as 8th graders.
10th & 11th Grade Scholars Circle

Dive into Jewish Theology and Philosophy in relationship to contentious issues of today. Your brain might hurt at the end but it will be well worth the inspiration. Topics in the past have included gun violence and #MeToo. Our source this year (2019–2020) will be the Mishnah, the first compilation of Jewish law.
No prerequisite: 11th graders may register even if they did not participate in Scholars Circle as 10th graders.
12 Grade Seminar

Dialogue on topics such as Judaism and American Politics, Freedom of Speech, Sports, Jewish Philanthropy, Sex, Business Ethics, and How to Consume Media. These sessions will give you a background for the conversations you will encounter when you reach college campuses. Guest speakers in the past have included Jon Frankel, Dylan Lauren, and Dr. Richard Haass.
