Dear Prospective Applicants,
The Leadership Grand Traverse program is designed to further the development of individuals who can serve as community trustees. Twice a year, the Traverse City Area Chamber of Commerce accepts a small group of leaders to take part in this intensive community and professional leadership program. Participants will be able to deepen their connection and understanding of our community, expand their leadership skills, and explore key topics and issues impacting our region.
Leadership GT graduates are well-versed in the organizations and experiences spanning the Grand Traverse region, and they are prepared to step into or expand their roles as community stewards.
The following application is for the Fall Class of 2019. Acceptance will be determined based upon your application, and attendance at all sessions is mandatory; full participation is critical to the success of the class and the program. Prior to submitting your application, we ask that applicants please block off all session dates and commit to attending. We also required that employers (unless you are self-employed) provide a signature indicating their understanding and acceptance of these requirements.
All applications will be reviewed by the Traverse City Area Chamber of Commerce Leadership Committee, which makes final recommendations for acceptance. Please put thoughtful effort into your responses, as your application may be all the Committee knows about you.
