Eligibility Requirements

Thank you for your interest in the Native Nation Rebuilders program! This two-year, cohort-based leadership experience helps participants develop the knowledge, skills, and connections they need to effectively lead nation building efforts in their own communities.

Eligibility

In order to apply for the program, you must complete the following form to determine if you meet certain eligibility requirements. If you meet those requirements, you will be directed to the rest of the application.

As a reminder, the complete application form, references, and employer letters must all be submitted by 5:00 PM CST on October 2, 2023.

Please note: If you are unable to answer Yes to all questions, you are not eligible for the Rebuilders program at this time.

Citizenship + Residency: I am an enrolled citizen of a federally recognized Native nation who is currently living and working in Mni Sota Makoce, North Dakota, or South Dakota.
OR
I am an enrolled citizen of one of the 23 Native nations sharing geography with Mni Sota Makoce, North Dakota, or South Dakota.
