2019 Conference for Community Arts Education

Young Artist Day Pass Application

Submission Deadline: Friday, October 4, 2019 6:00 PM EST

The Conference for Community Arts Education brings together more than 700 leaders and educators from a range of backgrounds to share knowledge, build relationships, and advance a common vision: a nation where arts education is accessible and embraced as essential for human development and healthy communities.

The 2019 conference includes the 2nd annual National Young Artists Summit, to be held at Creative Action in Austin, TX on Saturday, November 2nd, 2019. The Summit brings together youth, ages 13-20, from across the country to share their artistry; participate in workshops on topics such as leadership, racial equity, and arts entrepreneurship; and organize towards a collective call to action. It is a program of the Creative Youth Development National Partnership.

Up to 40 day passes will be provided to Young Artists to attend Thursday and/or Friday sessions at the Conference. Young Artists interested in attending one or more days at the conference should use the below form to indicate their interest and the days they'd like to attend.

Please note that all young artists under 18 must be accompanied to the conference by a chaperone/responsible adult. Young Artists must first register for the youth summit and then submit an interest form. Eligible Young Artists will receive via email a special registration link enabling them to register for Thursday and/or Friday of the conference.

Interest forms are reviewed on a rolling basis; please allow Guild staff up to one week to respond to your inquiry. Up to 40 young artists may be accommodated at the 2019 Conference- this form will be closed if/when that number is reached.
