Wheelchair Rugby is the only full-contact wheelchair sport in the Paralympics. It features a high-paced, high-energy environment that gains respect for our Northeast Passage athletes from spectators very quickly. Volunteers will become part of a growing team and will play a key role as we continue to take our competitiveness to the next level. Job responsibilities include: - Assisting in unloading and loading equipment - Preparing equipment for player use - Assisting in player transfers between everyday wheelchairs and rugby wheelchairs - Repairing equipment as needed - Aiding in practice operations - Opportunity available for international referee certification (IWRF), if interested Basic wheelchair maintenance and tire-changing skills is a plus! Instruction will be provided. **Please wear appropriate athletic wear including sneakers or other closed-toe shoes.**
