**This volunteer shift includes round trip transportation for UNH student volunteers. Join Northeast Passage in bringing movement, music, and fun to our Wheelchair Dancing Class! Volunteers help support participants of all abilities as they spin, sway, and roll to the rhythm. No dance experience is needed, just a positive attitude and a willingness to lend a hand. This may include dancing alongside participants for part or all of the event! Volunteer responsibilities include: - meet with NEP staff at NEP office to assist with loading equipment and event orientation - travel with NEP staff to event site in NEP vehicle - assist with unloading equipment onsite - assist with space setup prior to event - help manage registration/check-in as participants arrive - assist participants during event -participate in dance drills (BE READY TO DANCE!) - assist with packing NEP vehicle after the event Northeast Passage works closely with the University of New Hampshire to provide volunteer opportunities that align with student coursework and department requirements. This volunteer position meets that requirement and provides round-trip transportation from the NEP office for UNH students interested in the position.
