Name Submission for Yizkor Service

Yom Kippur is a time when we remember loved ones who died at this season or in years past. As we approach the High Holy Days we invite our virtual community to join us in this moment of remembrance. It is Central’s custom during Yizkor to read the names of loved ones who died between last Yom Kippur and this one.

If you plan to join us virtually for Yikzor and have a name of someone you lost between September 20, 2018 and October 2, 2019, simply fill out this form. You may submit up to three names. Only one form per person will be accepted. These names will appear during the live stream as we take time to remember together.

Submission deadline is Wednesday October 2, 5:00 pm ET.

Voluntary Donation:

For centuries, traditional Jewish custom has included the idea of giving tzedakah in memory of our loved ones who have died. This is a practice still observed by some and not a required mitzvah. If it is meaningful to you personally, you are welcome to make a voluntary donation to our Yahrzeit Fund by clicking here. Such gifts will support Central’s general operating budget.
