UCLA Society of Women Engineers
Come join us for our Martin Luther King Day Expedition to meet with UCLA’s Society of Women Engineers. SWE UCLA, one of the largest groups on UCLA’s campus, is an educational and service organization that works to empower women to succeed and advance in STEM fields, as well as to inform young women of the opportunities available to them in this ever expanding field. The amazing women of SWE UCLA have planned a great day for our young scientists. We will spend the morning exploring the science departments of UCLA and speaking with the students and faculty that work in the research centers, while our afternoon will be filled with DNA extractions and roller coaster design. We are excited to visit campus and spend the day learning all about engineering from the women of UCLA!
