Welcome!

Thank you for your interest in applying to the Women's Foundation of Oregon Giving Project Pilot cycle! You can learn more about this grantmaking model here:

https://womensfoundationoforegon.org/explore-our-grantmaking/the-giving-project.

The Women's Foundation of Oregon is prioritizing a Reproductive Justice framework for this year's Giving Project grants. To learn more about this funding priority, please visit our campaign page at: https://support.womensfoundationoforegon.org/givingprojectpilot.

Women's Foundation of Oregon's funding structure has historically been available to 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) status entities only. We are firmly committed to crafting a more inclusive grantmaking structure. We've also learned that making grants to non-501(c)(3) organizations and individuals in a largely uncharted endeavor.

We are in community with other foundations who are working together to break down 501(c)(3)-centric grantmaking, while also fulfilling our financial and legal obligations. We ask for your collaboration and patience as our current non-501(c)(3) options require additional reporting from groups and/or may be taxed as income for individuals. If you have any questions please reach out to Ami Patel, our Senior Program Manager, at ami@w-for.org.

Thank you and we look forward to reading your Letter of Interest!
