Priority 2:
To ensure that the Trust is signed up to and committed to the accreditation process for its prevention and management of violence training (AVERTS). The Trust needs to develop a fundamental training package to inform all staff across the organisation about blanket restrictions and restrictive practices
Measure of Success:

Priority 3:
Learning from incidents, quantitative and qualitative data and other sources (such as complaints or national reports) in relation to restrictive practice is a key way of changing clinical practice. We would like to use a learning framework to assist staff and service users to share good practice, learn from incidents and work together towards reducing restrictive interventions based on this learning
Measure of Success:
evidence of regular summaries of lessons learnt being available to clinical staff evidence of how the learning framework has been used to support staff learning, at individual, team and service level to correlate learning data with incident data in key clinical areas , to monitor whether incidents of restrictive practice have reduced in areas where learning has been shared
