Priority 1:
To use and inform all staff of the restraint reduction tools and strategies enabling a strong workforce development in the 6 core strategies.
Measure of Success:
Already updated training programme to ensure all staff will be fully aware of the restraint reduction network and core strategies leading to a strong confident team who will be able to implement this into their interaction.
Priority 2:
We believe every member of staff from secure transport to Patient transfer should have the opportunity to discover the 6 core strategies and restraint reduction plan. With strong determined leadership and training programme it is our priority to ensure all staff complete our Respect training which is delivered using the BILD guidelines.
Measure of Success:
Our training package is delivered through a robust system which is already delivered within the guidance of BILD and Navigo. This has been recently updated to be sent out as refresher courses including the core strategies.
Priority 3:
Our 3rd priority although no less of importance is to keep developing on the post incident support and review
Measure of Success:
Polices are in place and reviews have been going ahead on various aspects in the development and understanding of when and how data presented, protected and provided to those requiring it.
