Priority 1:
Using our work force plans ,to ensure staff have the correct training and skills to ensure they meet the expectations of the service we deliver. Reviewing the data we collect to monitor and high light gaps in support or training that maybe required. Looking at data to ensure that staff have the correct training and knowledge for the client base we move.
Measure of Success:
This will be measured by that data we collect on the use of physical interventions. Being reflective in our practices and the feedback from others.
Priority 2:
continue to collect data to enable us to monitor and highlight areas of support and improvements. By sharing this data with the commissioning teams that use the service so they can also analyze any areas of peaks or patterns
Measure of Success:
That the data helps support the outcomes and highlights areas, while showing that we are delivering a standard of care that has a low use of physical intervention. That the training we are delivering is providing staff with the correct tools.
Priority 3:
completing incident review forms in an reflective practice, to ensure that lessons have been learnt and improvements can be implemented in to the service. That staff feel supported and do not feel that when things have gone wrong they can not share and reflect on their mistakes. That staff are also praised when things have gone well and positive outcomes have been achieved.
Measure of Success:
That when completing debriefs their is more positives then negatives, That staff are happy in their role as they feel supported, Staff retention is high due to the support given and are happy and confident in their role. That training can reflect and be implemented in any areas that get high lighted.
