A Community Partner may receive donations from Pajama Program that have been provided by:
One of Pajama Program's individual, group or corporate donors in their geographical area.
Pajama Program Regional distribution, managed by a local volunteer Chapter President.
Pajama Program National distribution, managed by the National Office.
To receive a donation, a Community Partner must be able to:
Accept the donation quantity and type (i.e. pajamas and/or books).
Accept the size and age range of the donation.
Securely store the donation, if necessary.
Arrange for adequate transportation to pick up the donation, if necessary.
On occasion, Community Partners may coordinate directly with donors to receive/pick up donations. Community Partners must not solicit the donor directly for future donations.
A Community Partner may request donations from Pajama Program by contacting the National Office or a volunteer Chapter President for their geographic area. Requests are approved based on the following:
Quantity of pajamas and/or books requested.
Frequency of requests (distributions are limited to 4 times per calendar year, no more frequently than every 90 days).
Size range of a donation or request.
Timing (roughly one month's notice is needed).
