Ramp University Finance Policy

Ramp University tuition and Student Housing costs are based on a full-school-year commitment, and therefore full payment for both are due at the beginning of the school year. All payments for tuition and housing must be received in the Ramp University Finance Office by specified dates. As a courtesy, an Installment Plan is available for both tuition and housing though the student/ guardian is liable for the full amount upon enrollment. Should a student withdraw or be dismissed for any reason, tuition and housing costs are nonrefundable and balances on accounts are due immediately. This means if a student enrolls in the Installment Plan, he/she is still responsible for the full amount of tuition and housing regardless of withdrawal or dismissal. Further details on Withdrawal can be found on following page.

Note: All Ramp University fees are nonrefundable.

Installment Plan Accounts

Ramp University offers a Tuition Installment Plan allowing students to spread the cost of tuition over eight (8) installments. Students who participant in the Installment Plan are required to make consecutive monthly payments by providing credit/debit card information and agreeing to automatic drafts. Students are responsible to update the Ramp University Financial Office with new card information when necessary. Installment payments will be automatically withdrawn on the 15th day of every month from September through April. If there are non-sufficient funds, or payment has not processed by the 22nd of the month, (one week later) an additional late fee of $25.00 will be charged to the debit/credit card. After three (3) consecutive missed payments, the student will be dismissed from Ramp University.

For Ramp University Student Housing, an Installment Plan is available as well. Installment payments will be automatically withdrawn on the 1st day of every month from September through April. If there are non-sufficient funds, or payment has not processed by the 8th of the month, (one week later) an additional late fee of $25.00 will be charged to the debit/credit card. After three (3) consecutive missed payments, the student will be dismissed from Ramp University.

Again, under either Installment Plan, the student is fully responsible for all past due payments and remaining payments agreed upon at enrollment. The student must make immediate payment in full to settle tuition or housing balance. Example: If student withdraws or is dismissed on December 1st, all past due and all remaining monthly installments are due immediately to settle tuition balance. This includes installment payments for December, January, February, March and April.

Please Note: Students who participate in the installment plan are unable to pause or stop the installment plan for any reason throughout the school year. Any payments made or received through Populi or the "Sponsor a Student" Form will be taken off of the ending total balance due. The plan will continue monthly until the student's account is at a $0 balance.

Delinquent Account Penalties

Student whose accounts are not paid in full by graduation day will not participate in the completion or graduation ceremony, receive transcripts, certificates, diplomas, or letters of recommendation, and is not permitted to register for a new school year until balance owed is paid in full. Once balance has been settled, the student will receive their certificate or diploma in the mail. In addition, other actions may be taken during the school year including suspension from Ramp University school related activities. Ramp University reserves the right to suspend student involvement in school activities, including mission trips, should a student's account be in overdue status.

Exceptions to Withdrawal and Refund Policies

All students are subject to Ramp University policies on withdrawal and refunds. However, students may request an exception to the withdrawal and refund policy when special circumstances prevent compliance with the published deadlines.

Required Criteria

Students seeking an exception must meet the following criteria:
1. A direct cause-and-e
ffect relationship can be demonstrated between the explanatory

circumstances and the student’s ability to persist in his/her classes.
2. Circumstances experienced and their resultant impact were not foreseeable and/or could not

have been reasonably prevented during the time period in question.
3. Relevant documentation can be furnished from an appropriate authority to support the

claim. (Documentation must be on official letterhead of the issuing authority and include the contact information for this authority. Examples of such documentation include a letter from a physician, commanding officer, employer, etc. Please note that all documentation submitted to the Ramp University Office is confidential).

Deadline to Request an Exception

All requests for exceptions to Ramp University withdrawal and/or refund policies must be submitted within 30 days from when the circumstance occurred.

Note: Submitting a request does not suspend billing or stop collections activity.

Ramp University Decision

The requesting student will be notified of the Ramp University decision approximately four to six weeks from the time of submission of all documentation. If Ramp University staff approves exception to withdrawal policy then tuition and housing will be refunded on a prorated bases.

Student Housing Deposit Refunds

Student Housing deposits are fully refundable should a student decide not to attend Ramp University and withdraw prior to June 1, 2026. Should a student withdraw after June 1, 2026 prior to Orientation, the Student Housing deposit is non-refundable. Once the school year begins and all Student Housing lease and paperwork are signed, all Student Housing deposits paid to Ramp University will be refunded no later than 60 days after graduation should the lease not be breached or damages occurred to the property. Withdrawal or dismissal in combination with paid-in-full accounts does not warrant receiving the security deposit early. The Ramp University Financial Office will withhold the security deposit until all installment payments are fulfilled should a student withdraw or be dismissed.

Credit Balances

If tuition payments result in a credit balance on the student's account, the credit balance will be applied to any encumbrances owed to Ramp University first before being sent to the student. Students will receive a refund if any credit balance remains. In the event that a student decides not to attend Ramp University and has received a credit on their account from sponsors, refunds will be issued back to the sponsor directly and not the student.
