Everyone Has a Gender Story

To address gender as a parent, it is often helpful to first explore and consider the gender messages you have absorbed as a child and even later in life. It can also help to acknowledge the messages about gender that you may be passing onto your children, even without even realizing it. We tend to focus on our child's gender, but it can be immensely helpful to start with ourselves.
