RFP OVERVIEW

Term of Contract:

  • January 1, 2020 – December 31, 2021 (2 years)

Room Types:

  • 1 room type maximum: Standard category mandatory 

  • Double Room for Single Occupancy

  • The leading room rate should be valid on at least 40% of your hotel’s inventory

Rates:

  • Net/non-commissionable LRA rates 

  • Rates must be lower than the BAR / Standard Consortia Rate, net of commission as well

Cancel Policy:

  • 6PM same day cancellation policy

Amenities:

  • Complimentary wireless/high speed internet access

  • Complimentary access to the fitness center

  • Complimentary breakfast

  • Complimentary parking 

  • Free shuttle to office

  • Free shuttle to airport

  • F&B discount

Blackout dates:

  • Maximum 30 blackout days within 10 blackout periods are allowed

Policies:

  • No minimum stay requirement shall be place on the client rate excluding extended stay rates

Corporations require your negotiated rates to be considerably lower than consortia net rates. Below you will find the benchmark value to ensure that your bids are competitive. Please note that your consortia net rate will be calculated as follows:

Average BAR - 10% discount off BAR (industry standard for consortia) = Average consortia rate
Average consortia rate - 10% commission (industry standard) = Consortia net rate

The calculation is based on the average BAR rates you have submitted on the rate authorization.

Extended stay


Extended stay rates are lower rates that are applied if a guest stays for a certain number of nights. The longer a guest stays, the lower the average daily rate is. You can add up to 3 additional length of stays to the initial one. For example:

Rates that were given on page 2 apply to length of stay 1 night to 10 nights.
For 11 nights to 29 nights, you offer lower rates.
For any stay of 30 nights and more, you offer even lower rates.
