Rudd Mayer Fellowship Eligibility

The WRISE Rudd Mayer Fellowship is available to anyone identifying as a woman who is a currently enrolled student or recent graduate of a college, university, or technical certificate program (including graduate degree programs)

Fellowship applicants may be interested in any sector of renewable energy, including academic, manufacturing, technical, consulting, engineering, finance, and others
Applicants must be planning to pursue a wind energy career in the United States

Wind at our Backs Eligibility
The Wind at our Backs Scholarship is limited to active enrollment in a wind technician or similar program at an accredited college, university, or vocational institution.

At this time, both the Rudd Mayer Fellowship and Wind at Our Backs Scholarship are only available to cover domestic air travel to Denver, CO and we cannot accommodate or assist with any international travel logistics.

Application Materials

Essay(approx. 500-1000 words) describing why you are interested in the Fellowship, highlights of academic and work history, experience in wind and renewable energy, career goal(s), reasons for attending the CLEANPOWER conference and how attendance will benefit you, your community, campus, and/or organization. Please also explain why you need this Fellowship to attend and whether you have attended CLEANPOWER in the past. If applying for the Wind at Our Backs Fellowship please add an additional paragraph indicating how the scholarship would benefit you. (PDF FORMAT)
