Our camp locations are St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 929 Concord Turnpike, Arlington, MA 02476 and ACA, 20 Academy St, Arlington, MA 02476

 

Weeks 1-8

Camp structure for Vacation Arts camp (VAC) for ages 5-12( at St. Paul's) will feature rotating classes. Counselors will be with the same group of students as they rotate through visual arts and performing arts classes, as well as lunch and recess for Vacation Arts Camp. Counselors will spend their days supervising and engaging with campers, including assisting in classroom activities, organizing and playing camper games, and more.


Camp structure for Art Academy(AA) for ages 8-12 (at ACA) will be the students and counselors with the same teacher for the whole week. Counselors will spend their days supervising and engaging with campers, including assisting in classroom activities, organizing and playing camper games, and more.

 

Weeks 9 & 10

 

We will move the VAC to our offices at 20 Academy St, with 5 groups of students. We will be able to add a clay class into the rotation. The model will work the same as traditional VAC, with students and counselors rotating between classes.  We will not be running Art Academy during weeks 9 & 10 this year. Students in VAC plus will be ages 5-12, same as VAC all summer.

 

Pay starts at $15 and hours are 8:45-4:15 with 2 half-hour breaks






** Please note: Counselors must be 16 years old by the start of the camp to which they're applying

Camp Details

Vacation Arts Camp
 | Location: St Paul's Church (Weeks 1-8), Arlington Center for the Arts (Weeks 9-10)
For children entering grades 1-6. A full day of visual art, performing art and outdoor fun and games, with a new theme every week. June 28- August 30.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:45am - 4:15pm. 

VAC also offers extended day programs from 8am to the start of camp and the end of camp through 5:30pm
. Weeks 9 & 10 will be at Arlington Center for the Arts and feature ceramics in addition to our regular programming.


Art Academy | Location: Arlington Center for the Arts (Weeks 1, & 3-8)
For children entering grades 3-6. ACA’s Art Academy will allow campers interested in the visual arts to explore and create elevated, in-depth and surprising art projects, in a variety of fun & unique mediums. June 26 - August 18, no Art Academy July 1-3. Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:45am - 4:15pm.
