Dear
Parents/Guardians,
We are very excited that you have expressed an interest in Urban Youth Impact's summer program. Due to COVID-19, summer programming will look different this year. We have already admitted children grades 1-4 who have previously participated in Urban Youth Impact's 2019-2020 TLA school year. Children in grades 5- rising 9 will be enrolled starting June 22, 2020. There will be regularly scheduled academic lesson plans, spiritual enhancement activities, life skills, team-building challenges, and the possibility of weekly scheduled field trips. If your child is admitted into summer programming, please refer to the email that you will/have receive(ed) specifying the start and end date for your child. Summer programming is from 9:00 am- 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday with a half-day on the last day. A calendar will be provided during the summer with important dates. A Parent Handbook will also be provided the week of June 22, 2020, with a page that must be signed and returned upon reading it with your child.
The theme of this year's Summer Jam is IN + FORMATION: A study on how worldly information often takes precedent over God's truth in your lives. In the Internet Age, we are bombarded with information competing for our attention. How do we know what is truth? Truth is found in God’s Word, which goes beyond mere knowledge. The Bible is information about God that puts us in-formation with God and transforms us into a new creation.
The goal of Summer Jam is to make camp exciting, engaging, realistic, and most of all, memorable for all the campers.
Please read the following important information regarding Summer Jam:
Summer programming applications must be completed by Monday, June 15, 2020 for all children who you would like to attend to our summer program. We will not be providing breakfast to campers, so please make sure they are fed breakfast before arriving to UYI. We will provide lunch and snack everyday. In the event that we are unable to do so, parents/guardians will be required to provide lunch for their children.
We do require every child wear a face mask. Our supply of face masks is low, so please provide a face mask for your child if you are able.
Transportation is not available this summer. If this changes, Mr. Larry, our transportation manager will contact you.

you have any other questions, comments and/or concerns, please do not hesitate to
