Hello Cara Volunteer Applicant,

We appreciate your interest and willingness in volunteering for Cara. Cara Collective’s mission is to build an inclusive economy by developing employment pathways to advance transformative individual and community success, with the vision to eradicate relational and financial poverty. Our volunteers are a crucial part of this journey. Individual volunteers may be asked to work on mock interviews, resume building, career coaching, and other support as needed by our job-seekers. We ask that you fill out this application prior to your onboarding, and upon acceptance you may begin volunteering with us!

It is very important that the information you enter on the application matches your government issued identification card, including your FULL LEGAL NAME. [Note: PLEASE DO NOT ENTER NICKNAMES OR TITLES.] It is important that you provide a valid email address, so you can be notified as to the status of your application and for future communication. All information collected on the application will remain confidential and will not be shared outside the volunteer program.

At Cara Collective, our job-seekers may need support in a variety of areas, including but not limited to: mock interviewing, portfolio coach (includes resume work), career coaching, and more. We seek to provide specific support depending on our participants’ needs.
