We recognize the current COVID-19 pandemic will have large and lasting impacts on service providers and organizations working with those most vulnerable in our communities in Oregon and surrounding Indigenous communities and nations. To respond to these emerging needs, we have moved the remainder of our Immediate Impact Funds to this rapid response fund. If selected for a grant, turn around time for checks/payments, in most cases, will be two weeks.
These funds are intended for direct needs related to COVID-19: increased client services, general operating, making payroll,
etc. We invite requests for up to $5,000.
Since the launch of this fund, we have received many applications. We recognize that our entire nonprofit community is in need of support and our hearts go out to you. But we have decided that our initial priority area for response funding will be to direct service organizations who have shown their commitment to serving women, girls, and their families & communities (including trans* communities), and/or are working on issues of gender oppression, and that are unlikely to receive funding through other response funds or avenues of support.
And at this time, we are unable to support individuals or groups who are not a 501c3 or fiscally sponsored.
If you are unsure of your alignment or have additional questions, please contact Ami Patel, Senior Program Manager, at email@example.com
before submitting an application. In addition to our Response Fund, here's a list of additional response funds in the Pacific Northwest we strongly encourage you to apply to as well.
Thank you to the Northwest Health Foundation and MRG Foundation for their contributions to this Fund. And thank you to the continued generosity of our individual donors for supporting gender justice across communities during a critical time.
