Peaceful Pen Pal Project

We invite youth to make new friends through some good old fashioned letter writing! Parents or legal guardians may sign their child up below to take part in our Peaceful Pen Pal project. We will match your child with one other child of a similar age.

With parents permission, all youth ages 2-17, are encouraged to join the fun! ☺

Starting March 30, 2026, we will share email addresses between guardians of the matched pen pals so that any questions regarding the letter exchange may be answered directly between guardians.

* Please note: We will record your child's preference, however we cannot guarantee they will be matched with a pen pal from their preferred location and definitely cannot guarantee a pen pal from a specific location. The location of your child's match is dependent on the registrations we receive around the same time as your registration. While we receive many Peaceful Pen Pal registrations from outside the U.S., the majority of registrations we receive are for youth within the U.S., so there is a greater chance that your child will be matched with someone from the U.S. Also please note that international postage is more expensive than domestic postage and it will likely take longer for letters to be delivered.
