Perhaps you’ve been “told” you need to create or update a strategic plan, or perhaps you believe it would help your teams stay focused on achieving your mission. Whatever the reason you’re embarking on this effort, know that not all strategic plans are created equal. Strategic Planning processes can take anywhere from 3-12 months to complete. There are micro-plans, theories of change, cases for giving, needs analyses, and more that could all be considered part of an overall plan. Yet, there could also be a subset of planning processes that will help you meet the moment. In this 90-minute workshop, Robin Yates, our nonprofit strategist and certified leadership coach, will bring you up to speed on some of the key ingredients for successful planning. Starting with understanding your intended use for a strategic plan, Robin will help you develop the right planning process for where you are and what you are looking to achieve.
