LUV VIRTUAL SUMMER CAMPS INFORMATION
Level Up Village's Virtual Summer Camps allow teachers to connect their students with partners around the world, or within their own classroom, for one-week of fun STEM activities.
GLOBAL VIRTUAL SUMMER CAMPS (Paired with classrooms around the world)
Global Storybook Engineers (Kindergarten - 2nd Grade)
Harness the power of fairytale and myth to learn the fundamentals of engineering! Students listen to folk tales, stories, and myths from different cultures and explore how they can engineer solutions to rescue storybook heroes by building spaghetti towers, boats, Bristlebots, and more. Available weeks: June 29th - July 3rd, July 6th - July 10th, July 13th - July 17th
Global Environmentalists (3rd Grade - 5th Grade)              

Students will explore ecological threats to our environment and will conduct a survey and present their findings about these issues. They will also learn from a global partner about issues in their community and will exchange ideas on how to affect change in their communities.

Available weeks: July 20th - July 24th, July 27th - July 31st

Global Activists (6th Grade - 8th Grade)
Students will explore ecological threats to our environment and will create a Public Service Announcement about this issue. They will also learn from a global partner about issues in their community and will exchange ideas on how to affect change in their communities. Available weeks: July 20th - July 24th, July 27th - July 31st

Global Sound Artists (Kindergarten - 2nd Grade)
Take students and their global partners on a hands-on journey through the science of sound as they learn to build their own instruments. They listen to and learn to appreciate culturally diverse music by exploring different world sounds further enhancing their musical experiences from  a global perspective
Global Scientists (3rd Grade - 5th Grade)
Access to clean water in many countries is a significant global health issue. In this course, students learn about the water cycle, aquifers, water-borne illnesses, and water filtration to better understand how water systems can be polluted and purified.
Global Doctors: DNA (6th Grade - 8th Grade)
In this course, students explore whether the environment or DNA determines who we are as individuals and how we live our lives Students will learn about genetics and epigenetics while discovering how environmental and social conditions around the world can influence those things for better or worse.
Global Virtual Summer Camp Courses (Global Storybook Engineers, Global Environmentalists, Global Activists): $125 per student

Virtual Camps for your Own Classroom Courses (Global Sound Artists, Global Scientists, Global Doctors: DNA): $95 per student

Course Details


We require ONE email address to be used to login to the LUV Platform to access training and manage the on-going course once it is underway. These login credentials will need to be shared and used by the teaching team. This email account is also where all notifications and alerts pertaining to the course will be sent. Usually the Lead Teacher for each class provides their email address, or a shared group email is created for this purpose:
