This is a preliminary request for permission to use your Department funds to support a charitable organization outside of the United States. If your request is approved, someone from the Home Office will follow-up with you to provide you instructions on the next steps of the process and the documentation that we will require from the organization to which you desire to send contributions.

A Joint Venture Agreement is an agreement between two charitable organizations that sets out the duties and obligations of both organizations. Since Congress passed the Patriot Act in 2002, the IRS has been much more stringent in its requirements regarding sending money to individuals or organizations outside of the US. The IRS has clear guidelines that must be followed to verify that the organization outside of the US to which funds are donated is legitimate and legal.

If your Department would like to send contributions from your Department funds to an organization in another country, you must submit this form requesting permission. All contributions to other countries must receive approval from the A.C.T. Intl Board of Directors.

Thank you for your attention to these important details.
