The Youth Advisory Panel is a non standing Committee established by the National Board to provide advice on issues important to young people and relevant to The Duke of Ed. It is participation mechanism for young people enabling them to engage in the decision-making processes that affect The Duke of Ed .

The Panel will contribute to the vibrancy of The Duke of Ed and provide advice and insight relevant to assist the National Board, management and the Award Operating Authorities (State/Territory Award Offices).

The Panel will reflect the diversity of The Duke of Ed and contribute to building the leadership acumen in young people and Duke of Ed Alumni, ultimately strengthening the leadership sustainability of The Duke of Ed.

I understand that, if selected to be a member of the Youth Advisory Panel, I shall not be considered in any respect as being a staff member or official of The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award - Australia, nor its agent or representative and I will not represent myself as such. I understand that, if selected, there will be no remuneration or compensation in relation to my participation in the Youth Advisory Panel, and that The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award - Australia will have no liability whatsoever in relation to or arising out of my participation. I understand I must adhere to the Award’s logo and brand guidelines. I understand I will be required to agree to, sign and adhere to the Award’s Volunteer Code of Conduct. I understand I will be required to agree to and sign a confidentiality agreement.I understand all materials and information arising out of my participation in the Youth Advisory Panel, including any input I may provide, will be owned by The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award – Australia.
