Race Forward Intake Form

Thank you for your interest in Race Forward's training work!

Due to a high volume of requests Race Forward is kindly asking you to complete the following brief survey to help us manage your request. Once you fill out the survey, your request will be forwarded to the team best suited to respond to your request.

Choose government if you identify as one of the following: GARE Member, Local, State or regional units of government, or a network that serves government

Even if you can tell us about how many people that would be a great start.

Thank you for completing the Government Alliance on Race & Equity (GARE) Training Inquiry Form. We are responding to unprecedented demand for capacity-building support. Your inquiry is important to us, and we endeavor to respond as soon as we are able. Due to the volume of requests we are receiving, we are slower in our response than we would like to be. Please note: we will not be able to schedule requests for assistance that must be fulfilled within the next 30 business days.

Our priorities for service provision are:
- GARE Member jurisdictions
- Local, State and regional units of government
- Networks that serve government

We do not provide capacity-building to:
- Police and Sheriff Departments (please see our programmatic partner The Center for Policing Equity)
- Private sector corporations and businesses
- School Districts

We are not responding to single one-time training requests. Thank you.

GARE’s focus is working with governmental jurisdictions. We recognize, however, that more comprehensive government engagement is often seeded by work within individual departments, people and community based organizations. Therefore, we offer three types of membership, Core Membership, State/Regional Agency Membership, and Associate Membership. Please visit our Membership page for more information.
Core Members pay annual dues on a sliding scale, based on number of employees:

Up to 1,000 employees = $1,000
1,001 to 4,000 employees = $5,000
4,001 to 8,000 employees = $7,500
8,001 to 14,000 employees = $12,500
14,001 to 20,000 employees = $17,500
More than 20,000 employees = $22,500
A jurisdiction may become a member at any point during the year; annual renewal dates will be based on the original date of joining, subject to completion of the membership renewal process.

State/Regional Agency Members are eligible to receive Core Membership benefits on a sliding scale based on number of employees:

Up to 500 employees = $2,500/year
501-4,000 employees = $5,000/year
4,001 – 10,000 employees = $8,000/year
More than 10,000 employees = $15,000/ year
Offices, Divisions, or Departments within state-wide or multi-jurisdictional agencies are eligible for this state/regional membership.

Associate Member dues are also on a sliding scale based on number of employees:

Up to 4,000 employees = $2,000/year
4,001 – 14,000 employees = $4,000/year
More than 14,000 employees = $6,000/ year
Associate Members can participate in group activities related to their specific department’s focus, as well as other activities on a space-available basis, but cannot apply for Implementation and Innovation Funding.
