PRIDE on the WildLands Registration

Please complete the form below to register for Bridging The Gap's first-ever PRIDE on the WildLands event in celebration of Pride Month. This will be a 1-1.5 mile hike on a primitive trail on the Rocky Point Glades in Swope Park. The hike will be 8-10 AM on Sunday, June 28. Parking and meeting location details will be sent by Friday, June 26. This hike is led by and for the LGBTQ+ community.

What to wear/bring:

  • Dress fabulously, but please wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes and long pants.

  • Wear a mask.

  • Bring a reusable water bottle full of water.

  • Wear a hat and sunscreen.

  • Dogs are welcome to join as long as they get along with other dogs and humans. They must remain leashed at all times.

  • There is tall grass lining the trail, which means ticks are likely to find you. Here are some tips on how to dress to avoid ticks.

If you have any questions, please contact Ami Freeberg, Volunteer Program Manager, at or 816-561-1062.
