Overview of the Serve the Moment Service Corps

Are you a courageous and compassionate leader looking to make a difference alongside the Jewish community? Serve the Moment mobilizes young adults and college students (ages 18-29) through a part-time stipended Jewish service-learning experience from June 21 - July 30, 2021.

Corps Members will spend approximately 10 hours a week volunteering and participating in online learning sessions over the six week program. There will be an online orientation the week of June 14, with specific dates and times to be sent to accepted Corps Members. Serve the Moment Corps Members will earn a stipend of $750, distributed at the end of the program. Accepted Corps Members are eligible to apply for additional funding through the Equity Fund.

Service and learning will focus on addressing food insecurity, educational needs, unemployment, racial justice, social isolation and other pressing needs which have been exacerbated by COVID-19. Serve the Moment is a program powered by Repair the World and supported by the Jewish Service Alliance.
