Thank you for taking the time to recognize our hardworking volunteers and interns who give so much to KYCC and our community! Recognition is a huge part in supporting and retaining our volunteers and we hope this resource will help you out.


**IMPORTANT UPDATE**: Due to the high volume of government certificate requests, unless you are more than 10, they will only be delivered quarterly - in April, June, August and December.  Please be sure your requests are submitted before the beginning of each of these four months to ensure timely delivery.


Before placing a request, please review the following guidelines:

  1. Volunteers/interns must be unpaid and staff must have documentation of their complete service hours.

  2. All requests must be made at least 4 weeks in advance of award date.  

  3. One award is given per volunteer, per year, per program.  If a volunteer is in multiple programs they can either receive one award per program or a single cumulative award within the course of a year. 

  4. All hours are cumulative, however PVSA awards are only given for hours completed within a 12-month period.

  5. Please be sure to review PVSA eligibility and award tiers for volunteers before making a PVSA request. 

  6. See award tiers for recognition packages.  All items are subject to availability.
