The Merage Competition for Desert Technologies

The DeserTech competition for groundbreaking technologies that rely on the unique assests of the desert in order to create economic value; and technologies that address the unique desert climate.

The competition is a part of a joint initiative of the Merage Foundation Israel and the Israel Innovation Institute, which aims to:

• Support development of unique technologies that address the global challenge of desertification
• Position Be'er Sheva and the Negev as a national and global hub for these technologies.
