Distance learning - it's not just for kiddos! Family Workshops are designed to address the needs and/or requests of families whose children are involved in our programs. At a time when our adult interactions are often limited, we hope that these opportunities to learn together feed your soul as they build knowledge and spark further exploration.
All Family Workshops will be virtual, with staff, volunteers, and families connecting live over Zoom. Most Family Workshops will be held in the evenings
All events are organized and facilitated by EWDC staff to ensure easy access for volunteers, students, and their families.
Virtual StoryTimes bring together small groups of students to participate in a fun read-aloud experience with special guests, often centered on themes such as social-emotional learning, community issues, and career exploration.
After the read-aloud, StoryTime volunteers and students participate in a brief discussion and fun, themed activity.
This year, StoryTime events will be virtual, with guest readers, volunteers, and families connecting live over Zoom.
