Funding Category

Community COVID 19- Resilience Fund

This fund has been established to assist community and voluntary groups and organisations that are adapting their services and supports to communities affected by the Coronavirus pandemic. The funding will be directed to those group aiming to improve their local communities and to recover from the effects of Covid-19.

Grants of up to €5,000 are available. 

Grants will only be made to groups and organisations that can evidence that they are working safely and adhering to government and public health guidance regarding the virus.

Primarily, the Community COVID 19- Resilience Fund will provide support for the following: (this is not an exhaustive list):

  • new and innovative responses to service delivery impacted by COVID-19
  • activities that help vulnerable people (the elderly, people with pre-existing medical conditions etc)
  • ongoing needs of vulnerable people to ensure that their health and wellbeing is maintained
  • adapting services delivered in the wider community
