Thank you for participating in the 2021 Global Ties U.S. Exchanges Photo Contest
We are looking for photos that capture the spirit of citizen diplomacy and showcase the power and impact of exchanges. Photos should be dynamic, tell a powerful story, showcase a unique community, or capture a powerful interaction between exchange participants and community leaders.
Submissions may be from members of the Global Ties Network, U.S. Government representatives, interpreters/liaisons working on international exchange programs, and others who have interacted or been involved in international exchange programming, particularly those sponsored by the U.S. Government.
Photos should have been taken between March 1, 2019 - September 30, 2020.
Types of photos that are encouraged (but not limited to):
- Group shots
- Home hospitality scenes
- Participant selfies
- Community-specific images, ex. with U.S. landmarks
- Black & white shots
- Professional networking or meeting shots

. You may submit up to five entries. Each photo must be of the highest resolution and quality available.
For each photo submitted, please provide the title of the photo, a brief description of the story behind the photo, and the name of the exchange program it is associated with.Please read the Rules and Regulations.
Winning submissions are selected by a panel of representatives from the U.S. Department of State, Global Ties U.S., and National Program Agencies.Deadline for submissions: Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at 11:59 p.m. ET
