Scholarship and Honors Program Opportunities for International Students

Congratulations on your acceptance to St. Francis College! You’ve been selected to participate in our Scholarship Day competition. This distinct opportunity provides applicants with the chance to win one of four full tuition scholarships.

In addition to our full tuition scholarship, eligible applicants can apply to our Honors Program. Please review the instructions below before you continue with your application.

How to participate:
  1. Scholarship Day Essay and Application Submission: All applicants must submit a copy of their common application essay (any Common Application essay prompt is allowed). Students must list their first name, last name, and the prompt they selected on the top of their essay.
  2. All applicants must participate in an interview with our Scholarship Day committee. Interview dates will be forthcoming. 
Scholarship Day Details
Scholarship Day is an opportunity for high achieving applicants to participate in an essay competition. Essays will be read by members of our faculty. The top 4 scoring students will receive a full tuition Presidential Scholarship. 

All applicants will receive additional scholarship awards for their participation in the competition. 

Requirements: 
Submit your application to study at St. Francis College
GPA must be an 85 (3.0) or above to be considered for this scholarship
Honors Program
The SFC Honors program offers high achieving students the opportunity to participate in seminar style courses with classmates as intellectually curious as yourself. Honors Program students participate in field trips, study aborad programs, attend regional honors conferences, partake in volunteer opportunities within the larger Brooklyn community and have the opportunity to present their Honors Thesis at regional Honors Conferences.
