Structure and Clear Limits
How do you prevent chaos in an afterschool
environment without stifling the positive energy of youth? Youth need structure
and clear limits in order to feel safe. This training will help you to analyze
the level of structure in your program and practice identifying and maintaining
clear limits.
Training Objectives
Participants will:
a. Explain how Structure
and Clear Limits meet the developmental needs of youth.
b. Explore ways to
improve their programs’ structure.
c. Establish limits
for their programs.
