Thank you for your interest in becoming a volunteer at RIAT 2022.   We request that all volunteers are able to commit at least four days, which must include the RIAT public days 15-17th July, 2022. 

Please note that we continue to work closely with the Local Authority and Safety Advisory Group to ensure our plans adhere to any new or required regulations in order to deliver a safe event in light of COVID-19.

We can provide accommodation free of charge for those volunteers who do not live locally. However, we only have limited availability at RAF Fairford and in the local area.  We do offer a friendly, well-equipped campsite at RAF Fairford, further details available on our website. 

You must be aged 18 or above in order to apply.

Volunteering

Volunteers are involved in every aspect of the show, from greeting UK and international military aircrew on arrival to helping the general public with queries. We would love to know more about what you would like to get out of volunteering and details of any previous volunteering experience you may have had.

The information you provide on this volunteer application form will be used to process your request to become an RAFCTE volunteer at RIAT.  This may involve sharing information with volunteer managers and for security purposes other third parties. Your information may be used for analytical purposes.


Your activities and involvement with RAFCTE will result in personal data being created (this includes but is not exclusive to details such as roles undertaken, the number of years you have been involved with our shows and reasons for cancelling your availability for a show).  Information will be held securely in RAFCTE’s Volunteer Database on Salesforce.


Please note that, unless otherwise specified by you in writing, your completion and submission of the form will be deemed to signify your explicit consent to RAFCTE (RIAT) to use your personal information in the manner described above.
