HFLS loan applicants applying on the creditworthiness of guarantors will require one or more guarantors who agree to take responsibility for the loan if the borrowers are unable to repay at any point during the loan term.
Guarantors must meet the following criteria:
Around the same time that you received the guarantor form link from HFLS, you also received an email from ID-Pal asking you to verify your identity and government-issued photo ID. (Accepted IDs: US passport or passport card or green card; guarantors must be US citizens or permanent residents.) HFLS requires ID-Pal verification for all guarantors and applicants in order to prevent identity theft and fraud.
Please check your spam or junk folder if you do not see this email in your regular email inbox.
Your ID-Pal verification must be completed before HFLS can review your guarantor form or the application you are seeking to guarantee. Please click here for more information about ID-Pal and why HFLS uses it.
I understand that HFLS cannot review my guarantor form or the application I am seeking to guarantee until my ID-Pal verification is complete.
