(If you would like to volunteer for URI events AND other volunteer opportunities, please select "No" and you will be prompted to sign-up for a Volunteer Orientation to be onboarded as an NYIC Volunteer.)
Orientation
Individuals who wish to join the NYIC's Volunteer Program must first participate in a NYIC Volunteer Orientation.

Typically, there are two volunteer orientations per month with one taking place in-person at the NYIC's office in midtown Manhattan and one taking place through a webinar. However, due to the current circumstances under the Covid-19 pandemic, all orientations will be conducted virtually until further notice.

If you are unable to participate in any current orientations listed, please come back at a later time for new dates. Once you submit this form, you will be prompted to register for an orientation.

Demographics (optional)

In support of its effort to create a diverse and inclusive volunteer pool, the NYIC requests that volunteers share some of their demographic information. This information will be used to help the NYIC assess the level of community representation it has within its volunteer pool and will help prepare future volunteer recruitment/outreach efforts. The compiled data minus identifying information may also be used in some reports to funders. The NYIC will not share individual demographic information with any outside parties. Based on their comfort level, individuals filling out this form may chose to skip any or all of the demographic questions in this section with no penalty.
