Rudd Mayer Fellowship Eligibility

Each year, Women of Renewable Industries and Sustainable Energy awards Wind Power Fellowships to women and other underrepresented genders who are currently enrolled as a student or recent graduate of a college, university, or technical certificate program (including graduate degree programs).

Fellowship applicants may be interested in any sector of renewable energy, including academic, manufacturing, technical, consulting, engineering, finance, and others
 
Applicants must be planning to pursue a wind energy career in the United States


Wind at our Backs Eligibility
   
The Wind at our Backs Scholarship is limited to active enrollment in a wind technician or similar program at an accredited college, university, or vocational institution.

At this time, both the Rudd Mayer Fellowship and Wind at Our Backs Scholarship are 100% virtual and will take place online during May and June 2021.

Fellows will also be able to participate in CLEANPOWER 2021 virtually as the conference organizer allow. 

Virtual fellowship activities will include networking, professional development and facilitating connections with leaders across the clean energy industry.

Application Materials


Essay(approx. 500-1000 words) describing why you are interested in the Fellowship, highlights of academic and work history, experience in wind and renewable energy, career goal(s), reasons for attending the CLEANPOWER virtual conference and how attendance will benefit you, your community, campus, and/or organization.
