An introduction to the School Oracy Benchmarks: how to embed a culture of oracy across your school - Wednesday 24 February, 3.30 - 4.30pm

Oracy is not a programme to be completed one year and gone the next, or an extracurricular endeavour for a select few, but rather an essential facet of an effective, empowering and expansive education. To lead this culture of oracy, school leaders must understand the strategic decisions available to them to ensure that every child in their school receives a high-quality oracy education. But what are these strategic decisions? And how can school leaders create the conditions to enable every teacher to meet the Teacher Oracy Benchmarks?

Join us to discover the School Oracy Benchmarks and the strategic decisions to be made by school leaders and how these enable a culture of oracy to develop across a school.
