SBIR / STTR Assistance Program Application

The SBIR / STTR Assistance Program is a NYSTAR funded, CREA managed program that helps eligible companies hire a qualified SBIR / STTR proposal developer or consultant to assist in developing their proposal. The SBIR / STTR Assistance Program provides matching funding, to awarded companies - the matching structure will typically be 1:1.

How it works:

1) Apply to the SBIR / STTR Assistance Program using the application below.

2) If your SBIR / STTR Assistance Program application is approved, you can begin working with a qualified proposal developer or consultant.

3) Once your SBIR / STTR proposal is submitted to the appropriate federal agency, send CREA the invoice from the proposal developer or consultant along with a check for your company's portion (50%) of the payment.

For Phase I & Phase II proposals, CREA will match your company's contribution 1:1.*

*CREA reserves the right to make partial grants.
