Mentee Application Form

About Us

We are a UK based charity, who run mentoring programmes for young people aged 16-25 from lower socio-economic backgrounds looking to get into the creative industries. We match young people with a professional mentor from the creative industry, who'll support you in learning more about the jobs in the industry, how to get them and build your own networks.
What we are looking for

This application asks for more information about your interests and why you would like a mentor. The application form is a combination of multiple choice and space for you to write more about your interests.

We want as many people to be able to access our programmes. If you have any access requirements or any additional needs when applying get in touch with samuel@creativementornetwork.org and we can arrange alternate arrangements.

We are looking for young people aged 16 - 25 who are motivated and driven to learn more about the creative industries. We aren't looking at your prior experience, we want to learn more about you, your passion, your interests and plans for the future.

You don't only have to be a 'creative'  or be studying a creative subject to apply! We welcome applications from young people who are good at all types of academic and non-academic subjects - all we ask is that you have an interest in the creative industry!

How the application works

After completing the application form, you will receive a confirmation email from the Creative Mentor Network team.

A member of the team will then review your application and if successful, you will be asked to attend an online interview. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, so you may not hear from us immediately but don't worry, we have your application!

The online interview is an opportunity for us to learn more about you. It is designed to help us with matching and decide if the programme is the right fit and the right time for you.

Eligibility

Our mission is to make the creative industries more socio-economically diverse and inclusive by supporting young people from low socio-economic backgrounds gain access to the creative industries through mentoring.

For this reason, we need to ask you some questions so that we can ensure we are supporting those that may not have access to these networks.

This information is only used to assess your eligibility for the programme and won't be shared with anyone else.

If you have any queries regarding any of the above, get in touch with samuel@creativementornetwork.org
