Additional Opportunity

This application is for the High School Internship Program. However, this year Urban Alliance is also offering an internship experience in the field of Property Management.

Are you interested in the real estate industry, or interested in knowing what job opportunities are available in this industry? Urban Alliance is offering all high school interns the opportunity to participate in a new pathway, the Property Management Program (PMP). Students who are selected for this internship pathway will participate in the traditional Urban Alliance HSIP pre-work training for eight weeks with all intern candidates. Upon completion of Urban Alliance training, you will be industry trained in either leasing or maintenance before being guaranteed a match with a local real estate company. You will be paid an hourly rate during your PMP training.

Leasing  interns learn all about marketing, sales, customer service, and other aspects of leasing a property to prospective residents. Leasing interns will have the chance to earn a Certified Apartment Leasing Professional (CALP) credential, upon completion of the internship and receiving a passing score on the official exam.

Maintenance internships will provide an opportunity for interns to be trained on building maintenance basics such as processing work orders, electrical services and repairs, appliance services and repairs, HVAC, and much more. Maintenance interns will have a chance to earn a Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician (CAMT) certificate upon completion of the program and receiving a passing score on the official exam.
