Learner Outcome: Participants will be able to identify current standards of Medical Surgical nursing practice and apply them to selected patient conditions.
Objectives:
- Describe the techniques for preparing for the medical surgical review exam.
- Relate the pathophysiologic basis of various diseases of Medical/Surgical patients using the nursing process, including nursing assessment and interventions.

- Identify the appropriate nursing assessments and interventions related to selected disorders within the Hematologic/Immune system.
- Recognize the appropriate nursing assessments and interventions related to selected disorders within the Cardiovascular system.
